Description: This one year course in high school Anatomy and Physiology will give students an in-depth understanding of the structures and functions of the human body. Students will learn the organization of the human body from the cellular level to complex organ systems, along with the interdependence of body systems and homeostasis. Advanced dissections will include a heart, brain, eye (all animal sourced), and fetal pig. Students are expected to study outside of class in order to be prepared for in-class quizzes.
